‘through our work to introduce solar powered irrigation to smallholder farmers we are attempting something more than just sustainable irrigation. We are trying to be a business with sustainability at the core of all we do.’
And we are doing just that, one of the big things we offer with a difference is our 10-year warranty across our current range of solar water pumps. We strongly stand behind this promise and provide long-term support both directly from our factory and through our global network of distributors.
But we know people can be skeptical of warranty promises, with worries that they are empty words or too difficult to even use. But we want to prove you wrong!

Futurepump’s 10-Year Warranty Promise
We introduced our warranty promise in 2019 and it is still leading the industry to this day, despite us challenging other irrigation companies to step-up. This level of longevity and support should already be standard in the agricultural industry, yet we remain the only solar water pump manufacturer to offer a decade of support.
Here is what you can expect from us and your warranty:
1. Simple to register
It doesn’t take long to register your warranty with us. Just fill in your details at warranty.futurepump.com and you’ll be able to get easy and fast support whenever you need.
All you need are your contact details, preferred language and your pump’s serial number.
And you can even sign up to support emails to get regular check-ins and updates from our technical team. We like to remind our customers that we are here to help.
2. Easy, in-field maintenance
From the fantastic right to repair campaigns to a shift away from throwaway culture, we need to stop using disposable products that just get thrown away when they break. We want to limit downtime and keep things working easily. So no more taking pumps for specialist servicing, or having to spend money just to look inside your machine.
Our solar pumps will need maintenance to stay at top efficiency, but this is as easy to do as a bicycle. Each of our solar water pumps comes with a maintenance kit, with tools and spares to maintain your pump yourself.

Our solar pumps are really built to last. And as you can easily get to each and every part, with the right maintenance it could last a lifetime.
3. Support from our expert teams
We also have a whole series of support videos from our technical team to help you use the maintenance kit on your pumps and troubleshoot if you are having problems. All our support videos are easily accessed, for free, on our YouTube channel.
We provide technical training to all our distributors, so they are familiar with our solar water pumps as well as the level of support we expect from our warranty promise. And don’t forget, we are also active on social media, emails and chat if you ever have a general question you want to ask, and you’ll speak with a real human.
4. Warranty claims are simple
When you need a bit of extra help, we will be there too. You can quickly and easily submit a warraty claim (support case) at support.futurepump.com.
All we need is your pump’s serial number and a description of what you need help with. You can even share pictures with us. Once we’ve received your claim, a technician will be in touch to help.
5. Global access to spare parts
We manufacture all our solar water pumps at our dedicated factory in India, where we are able to provide parts directly to you and your local distributors, as well as stock parts long-term so they will be available for the length of the warranty.
There is a selection of common parts in your maintenance kit, and you can browse a selection of spare parts on our website too. Throughout your 10-year warranty these will be available for free through your local distributor or at cost of shipping from our factory.
Even after your warranty runs out, you’ll still be about to reach us for support. We may then have to charge you for spares etc. but we will be happy to help you keep your solar water pump running season after season beyond your decade of warranty.
Again, we think this should all be standard in our industry but we recognise it still isn’t, yet.
