Futurepump is a British-Indian company with staff in Bungay, UK and Rajkot, India. From our custom-built factory and office complex in India, we manufacture solar powered irrigation pumps. They’re supported by a 10 year warranty and designed for smallholder farmers to use on farms across the world. We sell both direct to consumers and through a network of distribution partners.
As International Sales Executive you will strengthen the sales team by taking charge of sales conversations with potential leads to bring in new distribution partners and opportunities. You will report directly to the Product Director, and will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Marketing team.
Examples of tasks within this role:
- Execute sales strategy to increase revenue
- Identify and pursue new opportunities through market research and lead generation
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and stakeholders in the agricultural, water and renewable energy sectors
- Conduct online and physical product demonstrations
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Futurepump’s solar irrigation solutions
- Monitor trends to inform sales strategy
- Travel for global events
Essential Requirements
- 2 years of sales experience preferably in agricultural, renewable energy or pump product sectors
- Experience in international trade of container loads of goods
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and activities
- Sales management and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Google Drive and Google Workspace
Ideal but not essential
- Fluency in additional languages
- Proven ability to adjust sales tactics based on local market dynamics
Location of role
- UK (contracted) or Global (self-employed)
- Remote (work from home)
Gross salary 2000USD – 1700EUR- 1500GBP per month (salary may adjust depending on location)
