Training with Martina
Saro is the latest Futurepump distributor to receive our training program. As Product Manager, I organise and jointly facilitate the distributor training program. During the last week of May, sales technicians from all of Saro’s Zambian branches and I came together in Lusaka to get to know each other and learn all about Futurepump.
What the training involves:
Our training sessions aim to equip distributors with in-depth knowledge and practical skills essential for promoting and supporting Futurepump’s products. By focusing on both technical proficiency and customer service, the training ensures that distributors can provide top-tier assistance to farmers, help them fully realise the benefits of solar-powered irrigation, and support our 10 year warranty promise
Through our training program, participants gain a thorough understanding of product specifications, installation procedures, maintenance routines, and troubleshooting techniques. This empowers them to become trusted advisors in their regions.
By being hands-on with our pumps and going through every part; completely disassembling and then reassembling them again, distributors build confidence in supporting customers to maintain their pumps for years to come.
Saro’s two-days of hands-on training:
To wrap up the training, the pumps were fully reassembled and tested, to make sure they were working correctly and water was flowing.
All the pumps were tested on both the large and small pulley, as well as different solar panel input to simulate different and changing conditions.
