We are delighted when farmers share their experiences with our solar water pump on social media. A recent video post was shared by Huw Richards, our happy customer from Wales (UK). Thank you Huw!
Huw has an amazing no dig kitchen garden set up with hundreds of plants. He uses an SF2 solar water pump with 120W of solar for irrigation from a downhill pond. Huw pumps the water up from the pond and then fills an IBC storage tank. He then uses this water to grow crops like tomatoes, onions, lettuces, cucumber & strawberries outside and in his polytunnel.
“The SF2 solar water pump is really amazing. Currently I only have a pond as a water source, so it’s really critical because as of the moment there is no forecast of rain. So it might be another drought like last year. So it’s really important to get this pump in your collection.”
