At Futurepump we have been manufacturing solar water pumps for 10+ years, resulting in positive impacts for hundreds of thousands of smallholder farmers around the world.
We could not have had this impact without the hard work and dedication of our India factory team. From design, to development, production to testing, marketing and after-sales support we have an essential and growing team of skilled employees.
At Futurepump, it’s important for us to ensure that we show our gratitude to all employees, and we wanted to share some updates from our most recent celebration, a day of adventure visiting several delightful destinations.
The journey started from our factory in Rajkot to Dwarika, and included visits to Nageshvar Temple and Shivrajpur beach.
Excitement started early on the day, with staff meeting at the factory to catch the coach to the first destination: Dwarika.
Stop 1: Dwarkadhish Temple
Dwarkadhish temple, also known as Jagat Mandir, is located in Dwarka city. It is said that it was originally built by King Vajra, and later on, it was further constructed in the 16th century.
Standing at the temple, you can see the breathtakingly beautiful River Gomati as it gracefully flows towards the sea.
It was truly awe-inspiring to see this five-storied magnificent temple made of sand and limestone, with a flag at the very top of the tower that is raised and changed five times each day.
Stop 2: Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
Nageshwar temple holds great significance as one of the most important jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, situated 18 kilometers from Dwarka. According to the Shiv Purana, Nageshwar is believed to be the primary jyotirlinga on earth and one of the 12 self-existent jyotirlingas in the country. An interesting detail about this temple is that it was constructed using pink stone.
Final stop: Shivrajpur Beach
Lastly, we headed to the pristine shores of Shivrajpur Beach, which is around 12 kms away.
At the Shivrajpur beach, the soft sandy shores, crystal-clear blue waters, and a tranquil ambiance create a serene atmosphere that instantly captivates everyone. Here we took a leisurely walk along the shoreline, basked in the sun, and relaxed while we watched the awe-inspiring sunset that painted the sky with vibrant hues.
We had a blast on this trip and created countless memories. It was so much fun to explore so many places in just one day. Despite the long journey, we were full of energy and joy throughout the day. It’s truly heartwarming to see that all the employees are eager to embark on more trips like this. We feel incredibly fortunate and blessed to have such a united team.
