We have a range of solar pumps suitable for different small farm applications. The Futurepump SE1 is suitable for up to 1 acre. The Futurepump SF2 is suitable for up to 2 acres.

Futurepump solar pumps have a suction depth of 7m, if you have a shallow borehole (where the water is less than 7m below the surface) you can use a Futurepump to get water from a borehole.

• Futurepump SE1: 15m

The flow rate of your solar pump is affected by the vertical height for which you are lifting water and the amount of sunshine. The maximum flow rate for our range of pumps is:

• Futurepump SE1: 1,600 L/hr
• Futurepump SF2: 3,600 L/hr

Pumps bought through local distributors come with solar panels included. If you are buying a pump online, you can choose whether or not to include solar panels in your order. If you buy a pump without solar panels we will support you in selecting a suitable solar panel locally.

All Futurepump solar pumps come with 6m suction hose.

Optimal hose pipe sizes for each product are as follows:

• Futurepump SE1: 1-inch (25mm)
• Futurepump SF2: 1.25-inch (32mm)

The horizontal distance that water can be pumped is dependent on the slope of your land. If there is no slope, the pump can move water 500m+

Futurepump solar pumps do not require a tank to work. A tank can be used alongside a pump for water storage for gravity pumping when there is no sun.

Futurepump solar pumps do not come with a battery, instead, we suggest that you use a tank for water storage for gravity pumping when there is no sun.

Yes, any 12V solar panel can be used with our pumps. Wire 3 panels in series to achieve the maximum output with the pump.

Futurepump solar pumps are compatible with hosepipes, drip irrigation, mist irrigation, and sprinklers.

The spray diameter of sprinklers depends on the number of sprinklers you use with your pump. On average, the spray diameter is up to 4m.

When using sprinklers with your Futurepump solar pump, you must use more than 1 sprinkler (1 sprinkler on its own causes excess backpressure). With the Futurepump SE1 we recommend using a maximum of 2 sprinklers. With the Futurepump SF2 we recommend using a maximum of 4 sprinklers.

Futurepump solar pumps are surface water pumps with a suction depth of 7m. They are suitable for pumping from a shallow wells, rivers, streams, lakes or waterpans.

• Futurepump SE1: 60-120W
• Futurepump SF2: 120-180W

Our solar water pumps are designed, tested and manufactured in our purpose built factory in India.

We offer a full 10-year warranty, covering spares and repairs. You should not be charged for these services. For more details please see the support centre.

You can get support from your local distributor that you purchased your solar water pump from. If you still require support after this, please raise a support case with us.

The differences between the Futurepump range are their flow rate and lift.

• Futurepump SE1: suitable for irrigating up to one acre with a flow rate of 0.5L/s. Total head 15m
• Futurepump SF2: suitable for irrigating up to two acres with a flow rate of 1L/s. Total head 15m

We do not offer paying in instalments. However, some of distributors do offer this, please find your nearest distributor details to contact for more information about what finance and instalment plans they offer.
