We have a range of solar pumps suitable for different small farm applications. The Futurepump SE1 is suitable for up to 1 acre. The Futurepump SF2 is suitable for up to 2 acres.

Futurepump solar pumps have a suction depth of 7m, if you have a shallow borehole (where the water is less than 7m below the surface) you can use a Futurepump to get water from a borehole.

Pumps bought through local distributors come with solar panels included. If you are buying a pump online, you can choose whether or not to include solar panels in your order. If you buy a pump without solar panels we will support you in selecting a suitable solar panel locally.

Futurepump solar pumps do not require a tank to work. A tank can be used alongside a pump for water storage for gravity pumping when there is no sun.
Futurepump solar pumps do not come with a battery, instead, we suggest that you use a tank for water storage for gravity pumping when there is no sun.
Yes, any 12V solar panel can be used with our pumps. Wire 3 panels in series to achieve the maximum output with the pump.
Futurepump solar pumps are compatible with hosepipes, drip irrigation, mist irrigation, and sprinklers.
The spray diameter of sprinklers depends on the number of sprinklers you use with your pump. On average, the spray diameter is up to 4m.
When using sprinklers with your Futurepump solar pump, you must use more than 1 sprinkler (1 sprinkler on its own causes excess backpressure). With the Futurepump SE1 we recommend using a maximum of 2 sprinklers. With the Futurepump SF2 we recommend using a maximum of 4 sprinklers.
Futurepump solar pumps are surface water pumps with a suction depth of 7m. They are suitable for pumping from a shallow wells, rivers, streams, lakes or waterpans.
Our solar water pumps are designed, tested and manufactured in our purpose built factory in India.
